Gettin’ there

Adding drawers to the stand. Mixed media is kinda nice, when one starts getting tedious, work on the other. Just three drawers, I ran out of the “select special aged” doug fir stock, which was a ladder made from 2x4s that the neighbors were throwing out. The rungs were mounted in the holes and the grey was from sitting outsides forever. I think the holes are going to be the drawer pulls.

Here is a video of how I jigged the drawer guides (3/4″x3/4″ angle) to keep them parallel when welding. The rails are 3¼” apart (2×4 width) so I used a 123 block and a chunk of quarter inch aluminum strap. A big plate is then used to align the opposite rail.
